Estate Finds ("we", "us", "our") operates a directory of publicly listed estate sales and auctions. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how we handle it.

Information we collect

We collect two categories of information. The first is information you provide directly: when you sign up for email alerts, request a consultation, request a liquidation quote, or send a message through our contact form, we collect the name, email, ZIP code, and any free-text notes you submit. The second is information collected automatically when you visit the site: standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested, referrer), cookie-based analytics for understanding which pages and categories people use most, and advertising-network identifiers for the ads displayed on most pages.

How we use it

Email-alert subscriptions are used to send you the digests you signed up for, period. Consultation and quote requests are forwarded to one matched liquidator in our partner network and not shared further. Contact-form messages are used to respond to your message. Server logs and analytics are used to maintain the site, prevent abuse, and improve which listings appear most prominently. Advertising identifiers are used by our ad partners to choose which ads to show; we do not provide those partners with any of the personal information you submit.

What we do not do

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your email address with anyone other than the single matched liquidator (and only when you've requested a consultation or quote). We do not enroll you in marketing lists you didn't sign up for. We do not share contact-form messages with anyone outside our team.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies for two purposes: remembering your preferences (such as dismissed banners) and basic analytics (which pages are most read). You can disable cookies in your browser; the site will continue to work, though some preferences will not persist between visits. We use industry-standard analytics tools and our advertising provider may set its own cookies for ad personalization.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from email alerts at any time using the link at the bottom of every email, or by emailing us through the contact form. You can request that we delete any information you've provided by sending us a deletion request; we'll process it within 30 days. You can request a copy of the information we have about you on the same terms.

Children

Estate Finds is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the site for at least 30 days before taking effect.
